- He had to lose his best friend all over again
- He just got to know that he’s been a shadow self of some 2000 year psycho
- He had to freaking go through the pain of feeling his lungs fill up with water while he couldn’t escape from a small locked space.
Pretty traumatic episode for Stefan.

I was really disturbed by the scene where Caroline is cutting her wrist. I know that it’s a show about vampires, and there will be a lot of violence, but for them to have Caroline slitting her wrist wasn’t necessary. Silas could’ve compelled her to do countless other things, but, instead, the writers had her do something that is a problem among what probably makes up a good portion of their audience, young women. I’m a former cutter myself, and that scene disgusted and disturbed me deeply.
